    Terms of Sale

These terms apply to all digital products and trainings offered by SECINTS e.U. through secints.com. Consulting and testing services (e.g. penetration tests, OSINT, the sprint) are additionally governed by the terms agreed individually for each engagement.

    Last updated: October 2026

    1. Provider and scope

The provider of the services offered on secints.com is SECINTS e.U., Salzgries 19/6, 1010 Vienna, Austria, email office@secints.com ("we", "SECINTS").

These terms apply to the purchase of digital products (EU AI Act Compliance Kit, CRA Readiness Kit), e-learning access and licences for training content. Deviating terms of the customer apply only if we expressly agree to them in writing.

    2. Payment processing and contracting parties

Your contracting party is SECINTS e.U. only. Payments are processed technically by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) acting as payment service provider. The Stripe terms shown at checkout therefore additionally apply to the payment transaction.

SECINTS is your point of contact for content, delivery, invoicing and support.

SECINTS is a small business within the meaning of § 6 (1) no. 27 of the Austrian VAT Act. No VAT is therefore shown; the prices stated are final prices.

    3. Formation of contract

The presentation of products on secints.com is an invitation to make an offer. By completing the payment process you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of payment and provision of the product.

    4. Scope of services

EU AI Act Compliance Kit: provision of seven editable template documents per language edition (German and English) as a download in Word and Excel format, plus one free seat in the AI literacy e-learning.

CRA Readiness Kit: provision of nine editable working files per language edition (German and English) on the Cyber Resilience Act as a download in Word, Excel and text format, including updated versions provided via the confirmation page. No e-learning seat is included.

AI literacy e-learning: unlimited-time access to the interactive online training for each seat purchased, including the knowledge check and the ability to generate and download a personalised certificate of completion.

Company licence and white-label: use of the training for the agreed number of people, or provision of a version branded for your company, subject to separate agreement.

The number of seats purchased follows from your order. Use by more people than purchased is not permitted.

    5. Prices and provision

All prices stated are final prices including any applicable VAT. No further costs arise.

Provision takes place immediately after successful payment: the download or access code is shown on the confirmation page and remains available to you. Please keep this information safe.

    6. Rights of use

You receive a simple, non-exclusive right of unlimited duration to use the content within your company and to adapt the template documents to your circumstances.

Consultants may additionally use and adapt the templates for companies they advise.

Passing on, reselling and making the content publicly available in unchanged or only insignificantly changed form is not permitted, in particular as a competing template or training offering.

E-learning access codes are tied to the number of seats purchased: you may only pass the code to as many people as you bought seats for. The bonus access included with the compliance kit covers exactly one seat. Use beyond that is a breach of contract and entitles us to block the access code in question and invoice the additional seats.

    7. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts without giving reasons (§ 11 of the Austrian FAGG). The period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise it, an unambiguous statement to SECINTS e.U., Salzgries 19/6, 1010 Vienna, office@secints.com is sufficient.

IMPORTANT. Early lapse for digital content: our products are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Under § 18 (1) no. 11 FAGG there is no right of withdrawal where we have begun performance before the withdrawal period expired after you (1) expressly requested that we begin performance immediately and (2) acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

By completing the payment process and receiving the download or access code immediately thereafter, you make these declarations. You thereby lose your right of withdrawal. We point this out separately before every purchase.

Until provision, that is, as long as you have not started the download and not redeemed the access code, you can of course withdraw. Simply contact us at office@secints.com and we will refund the purchase price.

Entrepreneurs (B2B) have no statutory right of withdrawal.

    8. Warranty

Statutory warranty provisions apply. We warrant that the content corresponds to the description of services at the time of provision.

Should a download not work technically or an access not be usable, please report this to office@secints.com. We will provide the service again immediately.

    9. No legal advice

Our templates, trainings and certificates provide practical implementation support and expressly do not constitute legal advice. Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act) is complex and its application depends on the specific circumstances of your company.

You remain responsible for reviewing and adapting the content and for complying with the rules applicable to you. In particular, seek qualified legal counsel on questions concerning prohibited practices and high-risk systems.

The e-learning certificate documents participation in a training measure. Whether that measure is sufficient to fulfil the obligations under Art. 4 EU AI Act in a specific case depends on your circumstances.

    10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damages arising from injury to life, body or health.

In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of material contractual obligations and limited in amount to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for lost profit and consequential damages is excluded in cases of slight negligence.

Mandatory statutory liability provisions towards consumers remain unaffected.

    11. Governing law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Towards consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.

For disputes with entrepreneurs, the competent court in Vienna has jurisdiction. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
